Website Assessment
Is your nonprofit’s website messy or tough to navigate, but you aren’t sure what to tackle first? With a HeartSpark Web Assessment, you’ll get a comprehensive review of your organization’s website from a web design expert, along with a prioritized list of improvements that your team can start tackling right away.

Your nonprofit may be ready for a website assessment if...
- Your website feels messy and disjointed
- Your homepage doesn't clearly tell your story
- You're embarrassed by how your website looks
- Making updates is difficult and time-consuming
- You're not getting consistent online donations

How does the website assessment work?
After a thorough evaluation, we’ll gather findings and present a simple list of recommendations to your team on a one-hour video call. After the call, you’ll get a written report of recommendations that you can start implementing immediately or use as a foundation to help your team create the perfect website redesign project brief and/or RFP.

Frequently Asked Questions
Absolutely! Even if you want to stick with your current website platform, it’s helpful to get a professional look “under the hood” to make sure you’re making the most of your CMS, CRM, and donation platform capabilities.
At the end of your website assessment, we’ll provide you with an itemized estimate for HeartSpark to work on the redesign, as well as a price range of different cost options to hire your own web development firm or freelance team. Our goal is to set you up for success so you can confidently talk with web design and development teams, finding the perfect web partner for your nonprofit.
Definitely. This web assessment is an honest look at your current site, so we’d want to make sure they’re included in the assessment process to provide their struggles with the backend as well. In many cases, your web developer may be looking for a second opinion on the user experience and overall site design so they can then build out the changes. It’s a very symbiotic relationship!
Chances are your board is already feeling the pains of using your website and will be on board with an update, but if a redesign may not be in the cards for this year, we’ll share a clear-cut cost estimate so you can budget for the project in the next fiscal year. We’ll also provide some “quick win” tasks that you can do asap to help clean up your website and increase traffic before going through a larger website redesign process.
