Loeys-Dietz Syndrome Foundation

Healing Hearts. Inspiring Hope.

Loeys-Dietz syndrome (LDS) is a genetic disorder that affects the connective tissue in the body. The disorder was first observed and described by Dr. Bart Loeys and Dr. Hal Dietz at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 2005. The Loeys-Dietz Syndrome Foundation exists to provide hope and community for those affected by the condition.

Although the organization has strong foundation in research and community, their brand style was outdated and bland. We used their existing logo and blended it with a modern, yet approachable style that would re-energize their community and reflect the excellence of their organization. By updating their website, tweaking their email marketing, and designing their 2018 annual report, we saw the community get even more invested and 2019 donations increased.

"I have had the pleasure of working with HeartSpark Design on revitalizing the look of our brand and then taking this new clean, modern inviting look and transcending it into a whole new Squarespace website and annual report. Our new look engaged our community with refreshing aesthetics and an easy to navigate format. We continue to work with HeartSpark Design on a number of design projects including social media and newsletter graphics as well as posters, t-shirts and booklets for our upcoming conference. We are excited to continue the relationship with Lauren at HeartSpark Design as we continue to build out our marketing materials."
